These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in tours operated by Bali Moto Adventures. By making a booking, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Bookings and Deposits
A deposit of $500 per person is required to confirm your reservation. Payment is then made in two instalments:
- 50% of the total tour price, two months (60 days) before departure. The $500 deposit counts towards this instalment.
- The remaining balance, two weeks (14 days) before departure — or in cash on arrival, if you prefer.
Bookings made when one of those dates has already passed require that instalment at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
- More than 30 days before departure: free cancellation — everything you have paid is refunded in full, deposit included
- Less than 30 days before departure: non-refundable
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
3. Tour Modifications
Bali Moto Adventures reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road conditions, local regulations, or safety reasons. In such cases we will provide a comparable alternative at no additional cost. No refunds are issued for itinerary modifications beyond our control.
4. Physical Requirements and Fitness
Participants must hold a valid motorcycle licence appropriate for the bikes provided and be in good physical health. You are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely.
5. Insurance
Travel and motorcycle insurance is not included in the tour price. Two options are available:
- Full-Risk Insurance: $275 per person — covers all motorcycle damage during the tour
- Refundable Security Deposit: $1,000 per motorcycle — returned in full if no damages occur
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability.
6. Liability
Motorcycle touring is an adventure activity with inherent risks. Bali Moto Adventures takes all reasonable precautions for participant safety, including servicing every motorcycle before the tour and, on guided departures, experienced guides, a mechanic travelling with the group and a dedicated support vehicle. However, by participating, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the tour in all circumstances. We are not liable for personal injury, loss of property, or consequential damages arising from participation.
7. Participant Conduct
Participants must follow the instructions of our guides at all times. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour endangers themselves or others, without refund.
8. Group Size
Maximum group size is 12 riders. This limit is strictly enforced to ensure quality and safety.
9. Prices and Currency
All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated, and are the self-guided (standard) price. Prices shown on the site in EUR, AUD or CAD are a rounded conversion for guidance only: the amount charged is the USD figure. Currency conversion for payment is applied at the exchange rate on the date of transaction. Bali Moto Adventures is not responsible for currency fluctuations.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.
